"I am always up for a challenge and have been inspired by all styles of music over the years. Switching between music styles when I write means my work continues to feel fresh and new"

“When I write music I start about four or five ideas at the same time, and keep going between them until one idea takes off.

Sometimes song ideas come to me when I'm doing something that isn't music related; I then record that idea - usually me singing into my phone in public.

What I love about writing music is being able to create something from nothing; pulling ideas from different places and turning them into a song.

I am often inspired by watching others play and their approach to music. I can switch off and experience music from the other side, in the last year this includes seeing Joe Bonamassa, Green Day and Bruce Springsteen."
